GotP: Ami

This is my OC for 's Ghosts of the Past Arc!

Occupation: Curry shop Owner.
FAMILY: Shiro (husband)


She didn't quite turn out as I imagined her... Originally my plan was a clumsy shop girl, but as I drew her and discussed her with I came to learn that she is shy. painfully so. She comes off as aloof and cool, but she's... not. Her hair is of varied lengths because she keeps setting it on fire, eventually settling for something a little shorter than what she originally had. Thankfully no one has ever seen this. But of course her husband notices that she sometimes comes home with fried tips, and he sweetly sits her down and gives her a trim (mostly because he doesn't trust she won't hurt herself with the sharp scissor-like tools)

Secretly Ami's dream was always to be a dancer. Ever since she was a little girl, she wanted nothing more than to dance beautifully. Unfortunately... she wasn't very good at it. Actually she was horrible. And that's how she met Shiro. Being kind of hobo-ish (crazy artist type), Shiro was out laying around in the forest, really far from the village center, when he spotted Ami /attempting/ to dance. It didn't go well. And Shiro ended up with his first ever love bruise... it wouldn't be the last.

He offered to help her practice, saying that the reason she was so bad was probably because she didn't have a dance partner. His toes never forgave him for that.

After their first encounter, Shiro went looking for her and found out that her family owned a poplar curry shop. He soon became a regular. Of course, being a starving artist, he couldn't pay most of the time, but considering the majority of his meals ended up in his lap or on his head... Ami's parents didn't charge him and usually ended up having to feed him for free. But don't worry though, he learned to wear protective layers under his clothing.

Everyone was quite surprised when Shiro and Ami got married, especially because to most outside observers, it looked less like Ami had tripped and dropped the food on Shiro, and more like she got angry at him and dumped it on him on purpose. Some patrons even began to frequent the shop more often to see Shiro get doused in hot curry on a daily basis. Oddly enough whatever curry dish Shiro had for the day always instantly became the most popular thing on the menu for that day.

hehehe.
Oh and the proposal... well I think i'll leave that to *darthmadigan since it was his idea.
