HaruKiki - One year Later

So, the scene from "Haru meets Kiki" (linked below) happened a year into the timeskip, but the timeskip was 2 years long. So a year later their relationship has progressed into... not much. But Kiki has not given up! And she won't!... What's more though, now she actually does find herself really like-liking him and she still hasn't seen him smile the way she want to, so her mission is not yet complete.

Of course after challenging him each and every day to fall in love with her, Kiki at least, likes to think that they've at least grown to be friends. And Haru well.. he's a gentleman. So when he spots his, overly enthusiastic and extremely persistent, "friend" walking down the village streets with her grocery bag, he'll offer to carry it for her.

Haru meets KikiThis was going to be a problem. Pacing inside the small post office at the edge of the village downtown district, twenty-year old Suteki Kigai, Kiki for short, nervously fretted. She had an important meeting with the Mikokage soon. It was about her position as a new teacher the following year and she really couldn't miss it. But before she could get to that, she needed to set up the classroom where she had recently taken up a position as student-teacher.
